Basic Ingredients:
We do not "Break" Horses!- We train horses from the inside out, starting with their mind and building confidence, security and trust. We understand nutrition and muscular development, whether training for the trail or the show. We also understand the dental needs of horses and the balancing of the horses hooves. You would be hard pressed to find a better foundation training program anywhere. A Step Above Stables studied under the World Famous "Richard Shrake", inventor of Resistance Free® training and riding. We became the first certified Master Resistance Free® Trainer/Instructor in the state of Georgia. Training horses is not a hobby, hire a Professional. We do not do this as a "hobby", we do this training full time - Year round. We have patience, understanding and are committed to life long education in our line of work. We believe in the motto "Don't forget about giving credit to the horse", because without the horse the trainer is nothing. We work with the horse and the rider to build a loving, trusting, understanding, respectful relationship. To ensure the owner and horse are on the same level of understanding, we include lessons at no additional charge. We also provide clinics and demonstrations at the stables and other farms. We hold several clinics throughout the year. We prefer small groups for the clinics, insuring valuable one on one time. We can hold a clinic (Week or Weekend) for specific individuals or groups. You can bring your own horse or use one of ours (Contact for availability). If you acquired a horse that needs training, or has "holes in the blanket" of previous training, we can help.
